Notices & Turrets
A book group meets at Hyde Library on Friday morning to drink coffee and natter and to join in a conversation about a specific book, if people want to. See leaflet. All welcome. From 10.30am.
If you normally give money to St Mary’s on the plate, why not get your hands on some of those natty envelopes by speaking to a Treasurer (Angela or David)? All the cool kids have them…
The long-awaited St Mary’s 2012 Calendar is out now- at £5 each it makes the perfect Christmas present. The appeal for Operation Christmas Child has started- pick up a leaflet and find yourself an empty shoe box. It is a really wonderful thing to be able to send a small box of things which will make someone else’s Christmas special.
From time to time we send out an email advertising forthcoming attractions. If you’d like to be on the list please send Richard an email at richardlamey@btinternet.com
After the massive success of the Market Stall on Hyde Market in the summer we’re doing it all again on the 3rd of December. Speak to Dave or Bev for more information- we need volunteers to have fun doing their Delboy impression on the day and also as many things to sell as possible.
